The California Democratic Party is proud of the nomination of California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to serve as the head of the Department of Health and Human Services under President-elect Joe Biden. Becerra’s continuous effort to advocate for the Affordable Care Act while protecting women’s health is the leadership we need to steer our nation out of some dark days and into a brighter future.
