LOS ANGELES, CA – California Democratic Party Chair Rusty Hicks issued the following statement on Trump’s visit to Orange County today:
“As Donald Trump hosts a high-dollar fundraiser today, nearly 220,000 lives have been lost to the virus throughout the United States and more than two million Californians are out of work. This visit is a slap in the face to working families across California who are wondering how they will pay their bills and make ends meet as a result of Trump’s failed leadership.
Instead of rubbing elbows with his wealthy, well-connected friends, Trump should focus on getting relief to the California communities suffering under his ineffective, incompetent pandemic response.”
