SACRAMENTO, CA – Today in a special Executive Board meeting, the California Democratic Party (CADEM), the nation’s largest state Democratic Party representing 10 million Democrats, announced support for statewide bond measures appearing on the November ballot, including Propositions 2, 4 and 5.
The following received a SUPPORT position by the Executive Board:
- Prop 2: Issue $10 billion in bonds to fund construction and modernization of public education facilities: SUPPORT
- Prop 4: Issue $10 billion in bonds to fund state and local parks, environmental protection projects, water infrastructure projects, energy projects, and flood protection projects: SUPPORT
- Prop 5: Lower the vote threshold from 66.67% to 55% for local bond measures to fund housing projects and public infrastructure: SUPPORT
