KEY DATES
- Monday, October 7, 2024: Your county elections office will begin mailing ballots.
- Tuesday October 8, 2024: Ballot drop-off locations open
- Monday, October 21, 2024: The last day to register to vote for the november 5, 2024, General Election
- Tuesday, October 22, 2024: period by which Same Day “Provisional” registration begins
- Saturday, October 26, 2024: Vote centers open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties.

HOW YOUR VOTE BY MAIL BALLOT WORKS
To register to vote, the person must be age 18 or older 15 days before Election Day. Your registration must be postmarked or submitted electronically no later than October 21, 2024.
- Receive your ballot in the mail.
- Use the CADEM Look-Up Tool To Find Your Democratic Party Candidates based on your address so you know the Democrats running in your district – stay informed or call 1-877-321-VOTE (8683) to get help from the CADEM Voter Protection Team!
- Complete ALL required information on the back of the return envelope, including your signature and the date.
- Return your ballot by mail, ensuring the envelope is postmarked or courier-stamped on or before November 5, 2024 and received by your county elections office no later than November 12, 2024. If the postmark is nonexistent or illegible, the ballot envelope is signed by the voter and dated on or off before November 5, 2024.
VBM ballots must arrive no later than November 5, 2024, to any polling place in the state between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
