Position Summary

Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria’s 2024 re-election campaign is seeking a dynamic Campaign Manager with a proven track record in political campaigns and organizing to lead the Esmeralda Soria reelection campaign. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, thrives in collaborative and fast-paced environments, and excels in communication, creativity, and tackling high-profile challenges with a keen attention to detail. This role involves overseeing the entire campaign operation, managing a diverse team including the Field Director, Deputy Field Directors, Social Media Manager, and Scheduler. The Campaign Manager will work exclusively on the Soria campaign and collaborate closely with our team of consultants, including Street Level Campaigns and the Assembly Democrats. Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the entire Esmeralda Soria reelection campaign, ensuring strategic alignment and cohesion across all facets of the campaign.

Direct management and supervision of all junior staff including Field Directors, Deputy Field Directors, Social Media Managers, and Schedulers.

Collaborate closely with a team of consultants from Street Level Campaigns and the Assembly Democrats to design and execute campaign strategies.

Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive campaign plans, including communications, outreach, and engagement strategies.

Ensure excellent client service and maintain strong, productive relationships with all stakeholders.

Coordinate and oversee content creation for press releases, social media, blog posts, and other communication materials.

Lead outreach efforts to community organizations for coalition-building, securing endorsements, and fostering community support.

Analyze voter and polling data to inform campaign strategy and adjust tactics as needed.

Prepare and present regular reports on campaign progress, media coverage, and strategic adjustments to the candidate and senior campaign consultants.

Manage tight deadlines and multiple projects in a high-pressure environment, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in political campaign management, with a strong preference for candidates who have
led successful electoral campaigns
● Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage diverse teams and foster a collaborative,
high-achievement campaign culture
● Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate clear and compelling campaign
messages and strategies
● Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to guide strategic decisions
● Strong network within political, media, and community circles, preferably with existing relationships in the Central Valley
area
● Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and challenges
● Willingness to travel as needed and work non-traditional hours during the campaign season
● Fluency in Spanish is preferred

$8,000 – $10,000 per month
