The right to protest and insist that no one is above the law is fundamental to our democracy, and those rights must be protected.
We also mourn the tragic killings by ICE of Renee Nicole Good of Minnesota and Keith Porter Jr. of Northridge, and the 32 people who died in ICE custody in 2025. These killings are a tragedy, a betrayal of the public trust and a stain on our democratic values.”
